Loon Pond Beach Corporation was founded in 1949 by summer residents in Gilmanton NH. The original incorporation document lists five individuals, William E. Prindle, Jr., Sybil M. Hyde, Mary T. Bucciarelli, Caroline M. Cooper, Elma MacAfee, and Alfred R. Sumner, as signatories of the certificate of incorporation.
